Welcome to Adaptive Adventures!
Here are a few important details regarding our new programming for Adults with Disabilities:
- Activities will be facilitated by Mary Beth Connors and Dana Zander, Oshkosh Area School District Educators.
- Participants in each class must be able to self-manage behaviors.
- Transportation to and from classes is not provided.
Adaptive Adventures - Glitter and Glam
Participants will engage in a social activity to learn about this program and fellow members. This being our first class, we will get to know one another, engage socially and participate in a craft. We will provide a simple snack.
Adaptive Adventures - Community Connections #1
Participants will meet at a designated community location. This class will focus on increasing awareness of social options within our community, how to benefit from them, and tips on how to continue use of them in the future.
Adaptive Adventures - Healthy Eating
Participants will learn how to develop healthy eating habits by making better choices and increasing physical activity. Participants will engage in a lesson about food choices, will prepare a healthy snack and end with a group physical activity.
Adaptive Adventures - Game Night
