NEW: BADMINTON

Yes...Badminton!  It provides plenty of exercise, eye-hand coordination and you do not have to be "super athletic" to play.  This is a game of strategy, for both men and women of all ages.  Open play is designed as "drop-in" play.  You come when you can, leave when you must.  Tennis shoes need to be worn.  Equipment provided or bring your own!  See you on the court at the Recreation Gym!

NEW: EPIC KID CODERS

Students will be engaged in creative thinking, problem solving and collaboration while learning the skill of Coding.

Programming in Scratch (Ages 8-14): Students will learn the basics of Scratch, a visual programming language created by M.I.T. 

Students will learn to create basic games, an interactive story, and animation while adding sound and art. CODE: 116101CD

Modding in Minecraft (Ages 8-14): Students will learn basics of the programming language Python and will apply their creativity within the game of Minecraft. CODE: 116110CD

Bean Bag League

Registration is underway for the Bean Bag League!  Throw bags every Monday night from June 4 to July 30.  Registration deadline is Monday, May 21.  $30 per team.  Great time for friends, family or co-workers!

The ASHI Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) training program is designed to focus on supervising, caring for and keeping children and infants safe in babysitting settings.  Topics covered will include:

  • Babysitting as a Business,
  • Safety & Injury Prevention,
  • Leadership,
  • Play Time,
  • Basic Caregiving Skills,
  • First Aid, and CPR information

Students will be provided with many hands on experiences during this 4 hour course and will leave with confidence knowing that they is ready to work.  Students will receive a book and certification card at the completionof the course.
