Updated Guidelines as of September 28, 2021

In accordance with the updated OASD Covid-19 Guidelines, effective immediately all Oshkosh Recreation Department activity participants, spectators and staff who are in any of our buildings (including the United Methodist Church on Algoma Blvd.) will be required to wear masks through Friday, November 5th while participating or observing programs through the Oshkosh Recreation Department, regardless of vaccination status.

Staff and students who are considered fully vaccinated (two weeks after final vaccine dose) no longer need to be quarantined if they are identified as a close contact to someone who has symptoms of COVID-19 or who tests positive for COVID-19. However, they must still quarantine if they themselves experience symptoms of COVID-19 and/ or test positive for COVID-19. Proof of vaccination may be required by staff and students in order to alter or eliminate quarantine timelines.

NON-Vaccinated kids do not have to be quarantined if they came into close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID if they are asymptomatic UNLESS  they are a household close contact.  In this situation, household contact quarantines would be 14 days from the last contact with the positive case. If the positive case is able to isolate away from the individual in the home, the quarantine can begin right away. If no isolation, the quarantine timeline will begin once the positive case is out of isolation. The close contact can use an abbreviated quarantine timeline of 10 days if they remain asymptomatic or 7 days if they remain asymptomatic and have a negative test result from a sample collected on day 6 or later.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
