WIOUWASH Trail on July 31 - The WIOUWASH State Trail, built on a former railroad corridor, is named after the four counties it runs through - Winnebago, Outagamie, Waupaca and Shawano. Lake Butte des Morts, grassland praires, wooded areas and farmland offer views of diverse landscapes and wildlife. Meet at the trail parking lot located off Westwind Road dear the intersection of Hwys 41 and 45.
Oshkosh Riverwalk on August 1 - The Riverwalk is a flat, paved trail along both sides of the Fox River, connecting Downtown Oshkosh to the WIOWASH Trail. Enjoy great views of the river and Oshkosh! Meet near the Fox Valley Technical College on North Campbell Road.
Terrell Island Trail on August 2 - Terrell's Island is a 1200 acre wetland conservation project used to preserve and restore Lake Butte des Mort's wetland and watershed habitat in Winnebago County. The Butte des Morts Conservation Club opened three Terrell Island trails for visitors, including the popular Breakwall Trail that goes into Lake Butte des Mort. To meet: Follow Rivermoor Road north off Highway 21 to Schubert Road. Turn east on Schubert and follow to the end. Follow signs to "Terrell Island."
Tribal Heritage Crossing of the WIOWASH State Trail on August 3 - The Tribal Heritage Crossing Trail runs along Interstate 41, connecting to the WIOWASH State Trail on the north end of the bridge over Lake Butte des Morts. There are educational stops with interpretive displays of Wisconsin's eleven Native American tribes and a natural history kiosk. Meet at the parking lot for La Quinta Hotel and Two Brothers Restaurant on Oshkosh Avenue.
Menominee Shoreline Trail on August 4 - Menominee Shoreline Trail to Menominee Park features the shoreline of Lake Winnebago. The walkway will make a huge circle around the Menominee Zoo and large playground. Meet at the driveway entrance to Ame's Point at the northern end of Millers Bay, located within Menominee Park.
