The Oshkosh Recreation Department and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources will sponsor a Junior Angler Education Program for girls and boys. The program will cover aquatic ecology, fish habitat and habits, outdoor ethics, fisheries management, fishing equipment and fishing techniques. A classroom session will be conducted in addition to a shoreline fishing experiences. Meet near Kiwanis Shelter #1 at Menominee Park. Location for the fishing day may change due to water/weed level.

The Junior Angler Program is for youth with little or no fishing experience. All fishing equipment will be provided.  

In the event of inclement weather, Junior Anglers may be cancelled and the cancellations will be posted on our website.  There will be no makeup dates or refunds for any cancellations.
