Participants will create a sense of community and embrace the benefits of fresh air. This group welcomes all family types, including expecting families. Basic Sign Level 1
Learn the basics of ASL! Learn to fingerspell the alphabet and numbers, along with the signs for colors, foods, and animals, as well as simple phrases to use to communicate with a deaf person. Have fun learning to sail this summer!

All levels of ability are welcome! Students should feel comfortable in deep water wearing a life jacket. Lessons are provided on Hobie Wave catamarans.
Safety is always our first priority. Our instructors have completed sailing leadership courses through US Sailing and our staff includes lifeguards. We are on the water with participants at all times. We adhere to US Sailing safety protocols.

Drop-in Punch Card Workouts
Welcome to our Drop-in Punch Card Workout Opportunities
How to Participate:
Participants must purchase a punch card before attending a class. 
Punch cards are available for purchase at the ORD office and on-site at the class location.
Each punch costs $2.50, and a maximum of 30 classes may be purchased per card. The card may be used at any of the listed classes.
Participants can join a class at any time.
We do not issue refunds for any reason, including lost/stolen workout cards.
CURRENT CARDS ARE VALID FROM : SEPTEMBER 1, 2025 THROUGH AUGUST 31, 2026. Cards from Summer 2024 or prior are not valid.
On days when public schools are closed due to bad weather, all classes will be cancelled. On days when public schools have a two hour delay, only morning classes will be cancelled.
Family Art - New!
Families will come together to create unique art pieces under the guidance of our art instructor Melody.

Sheldon Tale Trail Series
The ORD is excited to introduce you to the new Story Tale Trail installed at the Sheldon Nature Area in 2024! The trail bridges reading with nature for all to enjoy! Stories will be out year round and will change seasonally and for special events. Please watch for announcements on the ORD facebook page, website and the Sheldon Nature Area facebook page as we develop this exciting new program along with other special events!
