This weekly program gets parents/guardians and their little ones out to explore local trails and parks. Participants will create a sense of community and embrace the benefits of fresh air, all while learning more about hiking. This group welcomes all family types, including expecting families.

Learn to Sail Clinic

Have fun learning to sail this summer!

Online Registration begins on Monday, April 28.

All levels of ability are welcome! Students should feel comfortable in deep water wearing a life jacket. Lessons are provided on Hobie Wave catamarans.

Safety is always our first priority. Our instructors have completed sailing leadership courses through US Sailing and our staff includes lifeguards.  We are  on the water with participants at all times. We adhere to US Sailing safety protocols.

Made just for you, by you.  Insert your own creative stye into our various projects.  Styles and colors of beads and charms may vary.  Pictures shown are examples only.  Base metal materials, not precious metals, are used for all projects.  All supplies will be provided and jewelry making techniques will be taught in each class.

 

Drop-in Punch Card Workouts

Welcome to our drop-in Punch Card Workout Opportunities

Punch Card 400How to Participate:

Participants must purchase a punch card before attending a class. 

Punch cards are available for purchase at the ORD Office, located at 425 Division Street in downtown office.  Cards are available for purchase at the ORD office and on- site at the class location.

Each punch costs $2.50, and a maximum of 30 classes may be purchased per card. The card may be used at any of the listed classes.

Participants can join a class at any time.

We do not issue refunds for any reason, including lost/stolen workout cards.

CURRENT CARDS ARE VALID FROM : SEPTEMBER 1, 20232 THROUGH AUGUST 31, 2024.  Cards from Summer 2023 or prior are not valid.   

On days when public schools are closed due to bad weather, all classes will be cancelled. On days when public schools have a two hour delay, only morning classes will be cancelled.

Family Canvas Painting

Families will have fun gaining confidence in their own artistry by creating a unique painting with just enough guidance from an expert!

ALL family members participating must be registered. A parent/guardian must attend with a child.

Registration begins Monday, August 19th!

Sheldon Tale Trail Series - New!

The ORD is excited to introduce you to the new Story Tale Trail installed at the Sheldon Nature Area in 2024! The trail bridges reading with nature for all to enjoy! Stories will be out year round and will change seasonally and for special events. Please watch for announcements on the ORD facebook page, website and the Sheldon Nature Area facebook page as we develop this exciting new program along with other special events!
