BAGO 920
We are encouraging the community to simply move with intention outdoors in 2025 (and beyond). The amount of time kids and adults spend outdoors correlates to physical and mental health. As a community we are working to move the needle on inactivity and obesity and reduce the amount of time our residents are on screens. There are no rules for participation! Our program is based on 920 hours outside, moving our bodies with intention. This will look different for each family, but the glorious part about nature play is that it is for everyone, no matter the age or stage of life. We guarantee, you will not regret committing 2025 to making memories outside!
Throughout the year, we will be offering special events geared to getting off the couch away from the screen, and outdoors with your family! Check out our preliminary details listed below, with additional information becoming available as each event draws near.
March - Lucky Sock Hunt. Visit the Ken Robl Conservation Park throughout March and explore the trail of rainbows to find the mising socks! Take a selfie for the parks department for a chance to win a pair of lucky socks!
