This hands-on class combines reading, creativity and cooking skills to inspire a love of literature and food in young learners. We'll dive into the pages of two delightful children’s books and bring the stories to life by creating delicious, story-themed snacks and treats. Perfect for budding readers and chefs alike. Students may only be registered for one time slot.

This is a total STEM experience! Participants will form teams and asked to make, bake, create and build to present their cupcake theme for the final presentation to our panel of community judges. Must be able to attend all 4 days!

Basic kitchen know-how including safety, measurements, utensils and use of small appliances is taught while preparing simple recipes.

Time to Make the Donuts! - Students will learn how to bake donuts from scratch and will sample techniques for decorating.
The Chocolate Factory - Students will learn how to melt/temper chocolate, piping with chocolate, how to use molds and create chocolate covered cake pops.
